Counselling and Recovery Therapy

Support to understand yourself, navigate challenges and move forward.

How can I support you?

You may be experiencing anxiety, stress or burnout, struggling with low self-esteem, relationships or difficult emotions, or finding yourself caught in patterns that are difficult to change.

Perhaps you're navigating grief, trauma or a significant life transition, feeling overwhelmed by university or work, or simply wanting to understand yourself better.

I also support people affected by addiction and recovery, including those looking for continued therapeutic support following rehabilitation.

Therapy offers a space to explore what is happening for you, understand yourself more deeply and develop ways of moving forward that feel meaningful and sustainable.

A space to be heard, understood and supported.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and it is not always easy to make sense of what we are feeling or why we respond in certain ways. Therapy offers you the time and space to slow down, explore what is happening beneath the surface, and feel genuinely heard without judgement.

Together, we can begin to understand the experiences, emotions and patterns that may be keeping you stuck, while discovering new ways of relating to yourself and navigating life's challenges.

You don't need to have all the answers. We can start exactly where you are.

Life after rehab

Recovery doesn’t end when you leave treatment.

Returning to everyday life can bring challenges that you may not have expected. Relationships, emotions, routines and responsibilities can feel different, and finding your place outside the structure of treatment can take time.

I offer ongoing therapeutic support after rehabilitation, including for people attending AA, CA or NA, or working a 12-Step programme. Together, we can explore the emotional challenges of recovery, recognise patterns that may put your recovery at risk, strengthen coping skills and support you in building a life that feels meaningful beyond addiction.
